The third graders recently completed a research project centered around African-American heroes.  Each student wrote a first-person biographical speech and dressed in costumes/props to play the role of their hero.  As other students or parents visited the wax museum, the third graders "came alive" to explain their life and significance. Everyone did a great job!

The Skinner West Invention Convention is cancelled due to precautions as outlined in the Interim Guidance on District/School Group Activities.

6th Grade: The Invention Convention project assignment may be offered as an optional project with in-class presentation.
